In the autumn of 2025, I was commissioned by the Vostell Malpartida Museum to draw up a development plan that would lay the foundations for cataloguing and digitising – ideally in a not-too-distant future – the holdings of the Happening Fluxus Archive, held by the Vostell Malpartida Museum.
During two visits, which took place in November 2025 and April 2026, I had the opportunity to gain a first-hand understanding of the holdings of the Happening Fluxus Archive and the Museum in general: its premises, its team and its history. The outcome of both visits was a report which, in response to the commission, included a description of the current statu quo of the Archive’s holdings as well as different proposals: cataloguing and digitisation methodologies; paths for future development; access and consultation guidelines; dissemination strategies for the Archive; and recommendations about the physical and human resources required to carry out these plans.
