To what extent is it possible to define the scope and limits of the archive in a context in which, for various reasons, the defining features of “work of art” and “document” have become increasingly blurred, and the border that separates them does not cease to lose weight? How can the relation between the documents in the archive and the works in the collection be readjusted, taking into account that these are categories not only questioned, but clearly disrupted by a good number of artists in their creative practice?
